TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT

One major resource within an organisation is employees that experience a sense of interest from the 

side of the organisation. This interest can take many forms but one of the more well known forms is that

of training and development of employees.

At BizPro Consultants we approach the training of employees in two ways: 

       1.    Short Awareness Learning Courses:  These are 2 to 3 hours courses that are aimed at providing

              employees with a basic awareness of soft skills. The training programs are developed by our 

              consultants specific to the client's needs.

       2.    Skills Development Courses:   These training courses are longer course, focussed on 

              teaching soft skills to employees with the aim of developing their effective use of these skills. 

              These courses are typically conducted over multiple days or contact sessions.

SELECTION AND DEVELOPMENT ASSESSMENTS

Companies are always needing new employees or find the need to develop employees in their current jobs. For both these instances, assessments can play a very valuable role.  As registered Industrial Psychologists our consultants can conduct, interpret and provide feedback on many different psychometrical assessments, as well as behaviour observation exercises, in-basket exercises and simulation exercises. These assessments will all be focused on either providing recommendation as to which candidates are most suitable for a position or in which areas a candidate should be developed.

Here at BizPro Consultants, we follow a scientific method to create Assessment Batteries:

1.  With the help of Subject Matter Experts (SME's) we create a unique job and competency profile for the post.

2.  We use the competencies identified in the profiling to create an Assessment Battery.

3.   All our batteries always consist of multiple assessments, in order to ensure the accuracy of the whole process.

4.   We conduct the assessments with the candidates.

5.   An assessment report is written, and feedback is given to our primary clients.

In conjunction with the Development Assessment, we also will create development training programs in line with the competencies that were identified in the job profile, wherever this is feasible. Thereby not only identifying development areas but providing a means by which the competencies may be developed.

CAREER GUIDANCE

Every now and again we all feel like we need to get new career. This is normal and in most cases goes away quite quickly, once a new project is started, or you complete a current project. However some people experience continuous unhappiness in their careers and they feel like they need a new career. The only question remains: Where do I start looking? Here at BizPro Consultants the answer is simple: get career guidance.

Our consultants are all trained to provide expert advice on which career change would fit best with your current aptitude, interests, personality and preferred working environments. We offer two career guidance services:

        1.    Basic career profile: This includes aptitude (if necessary), interests, values and personality. We have both                           online and pen and paper tests selected for the basic career guidance.

        2.    Executive career profile: This includes a range of psychometric tests including Cognitive Process Profile,                             Personality, Interests, Values and more. This is a comprehensive investigation into where you would fit best in                       your next career. The executive career profiling also includes a two hour coaching session, to best use and                           interpret the career guidance report.

TEAMBUILDING

There is a global tendency for companies to start embracing a more team orientated workplace. In recent articles, large companies are starting to move away from a decentralized workplace to a more centralized, team orientated workplace. 

This tendency brings forth the necessity for team members to function effectively as a team. Therefore, we here at BizPro Consultants offer teambuilding services for any and all teambuilding needs.

Whether you have a newly formed team or an existing team, we will assess the needs for the team and create a teambuilding that addresses your specific, unique needs. 

When designing our teambuilding activities we will also consider adventure teambuildings (for example rock climbing, paintball etc.), however we feel that even with adventure the team needs to get a proper lesson or gain from the teambuilding and not just have fun and not become a better functioning team.
